This is a shot of Susie's lake, taken from a hill overlooking clayton park. We hiked in from Lakeside using GPS. Was a pretty hard hike at times, not very far but we had to blaze a trail for a good portion of the way back. The way back out was even worse becasue there were no trails to follow at all. Adam and I go into the woods with a GPS and still managed NOT to come back out in the same spot...It never fails, we have never seemed to be able to grasp the idea of retracing your steps...we always seem to find our way out no matter where we are, however, it is generally at least 20-50 yards from where we went in..Maybe we should turn the GPS on next time????
