So we went back to our hunting site last night to see if there was any activity. We were quite surprised to find there was a home made stand in a tree just up from where I was setting mine up. We are really hoping that the blind is old. We assume that it is because last season there was a gentleman clear cutting all of the wind fallen trees from Juan. We set a couple of branches in the stand to see if anyone goes back to it. Looks like it's going to be a good spot. Lots of sign and activity. We're crossing our fingers... I applied for a doe Tag this year, second year in a row, I didn't get one. I was surprised. Dad has applied 3 times and has gotten a tag 3 times. There should be a sort of pool or something from keeping the same people from getting the tag 2 times in a row. Oh well....We'll see what happens. For those of you who don't hunt...you could have skipped over all of this...And to those of you who DO hunt...The weather is getting cooler...ALL RIGHT!
